A Bald Eagle takes off from as a dead cormorant hangs between two branches at Elk Lake in Victoria B.C. Canada on Wednesday January 6th, 2016.
fitting that death is all around us while the beauty of life course through the rowers veins – I heard the commotion as i rowed by “dead bird island” but did not see the cormorant. A moment of silence for the cormorant please and a round of applause for the sky-forged predators that rule the domain.
