Adam Bighill Lion to Saint

Nice to see B.C. Lion Adam Bighill get his chance in the NFL signing a three year contract with the Saints. I met Adam and his family a few times as they made trips to Victoria visiting local High Schools and helping raise money for the Westshore Rebels Junior football team.

There will be those who will say he won’t play much in the NFL and he will return to the CFL. But regardless of what happens over the next three years what impresses me the most about players like Adam and Cam Wake who also moved from the Lions to the NFL a few years ago is that they had the strength to keep pursuing their dreams when the majority of us would have given up and complained that it was someone else’s fault we didn’t achieve our goal.
