Canadian Mountain Bike Training Camp

I spent two training sessions with the Canadian Mountain Bike team last week.The first on a beautiful sunny day at the Hartland Mountain Bike Park and the second during a surprise snow fall at Bear Mountain resort, the site of this years Canada Cup race.

It was an awesome experience as everyone made me right at home and part of the team. I even got the chance to ride my bike with my camera equipment firmly gripped in an attempt to keep up as they made their way from trail to trail around the park.

I want to wish Emily Batty, Catharine Pendrel, Sandra Walter, Haley Smith, Cindy Montambault,  Frédérique Trudel, Catherine Fleury, Raphaël Gagné, Léandre Bouchard, Andrew L’Esperance, Evan Guthrie, Peter Disera and Jérémy Martin great racing tomorrow and throughout the rest of this season.  Also want to thank Mike Garrigan for being patient as I tried to keep up through the trails. Lastly, Head Coach Dan Proulx for inviting me, teaching me, and for an all around wonderful experience.
