Rowing Canada Aviron Elk Lake January 2019

Walking home through the forrest after dropping my daughter off at Kindergarten the sun was shinning through the trees at an angle I knew would be great for to photograph the National Team rowers as they left the dock after their first training sessions of the day. I will make it onto the water again soon but it is interesting how I was able to photograph the emotions that I remember about the sport without photographing a stroke.
