Lindsay Vonn wants to race against men at Lake Louise in the World Cup race in November 2018.

This would certainly provide some added media interest but is probably unlikely as FIS women’s race director Atle Skaardal said “It doesn’t matter if she’s one second behind or a half-second ahead. We compete female against female and men against men.”

It would be great to see Lindsay compete again in Lake Louise in whatever race classification as Vonn was out with an injury for the 2016 competition. Below is a look back at a very educational experience for me as a photographer at this past years World Cup. Educational because it was my first time dealing with that level out cold temperatures and the need the brush up on my skiing ability in order to navigate the mountain with my 40 pound camera bag to get to the photo positions.
