Pacific FC took on the Winnipeg Valour in their second home game this season. Valour FC beat Pacific FC 2-1 on a goal by Dylan Carreiro scored the 78th minute on Wednesday to open their inaugural Canadian Premiere League season.
I have not shot a lot of soccer but I have been impressed with the level of play so far this year. I’m still trying to figure out how the play with develop and what players I should focus on especially off set-pieces and corner kicks.
I do like the athleticism that the players show jumping and diving for balls and the fitness that they show running all over the field.
Last night became pretty cold and windy after the sun fell behind the mountain as the game began at 8pm. But as the summer approaches I have a feeling fans from all over Victoria and Vancouver Island will become aware just how fun the soccer atmosphere is at Westhills Stadium.
